Commercial Service education specialists representing markets in France, Belgium and the United Kingdom, as well as representatives of EducationUSA and Studyrama will highlight market characteristics, upcoming recruitment opportunities, recruitment/partnership successes, as well as best practices and strategies for European student recruitment. Following the presentation, speakers will be available to address your questions “face-to-face” via Adobe Connect!

Why Southern Kazakhstan?

Almaty is the major commercial and cultural center of Kazakhstan, and Shymkent is the third most populated city of the country. There are 45 universities in Almaty and 12 universities in Shymkent. Almaty and Shymkent have more than 200,000 college students and the highest percentage of high school graduates in Kazakhstan (40%). Kazakhstan sends over 37,000 self-funded students abroad, and this number has tripled over the past five years. Since August 1, 2013 Kazakhstani citizens are eligible to apply for a 5-year visa to the United States.
