May 23, 2012, Washington, DC - The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) will be holding the fourth annual GEA International Geothermal Energy Showcase on May 23 in Washington, DC to highlight international geothermal projects, policies, and development in top international markets. GEA is hosting the Showcase with collaboration from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Agency for International Development, the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and the Department of Commerce.

- U.S. Pavilion at Solarexpo and Greenbuilding 2012
Verona, Italy, May 9-11, 2012 - The U.S. Commercial Service in Italy is organizing a combined U.S. Pavilion at the Solarexpo (International Exhibition and Conference on Solar and Renewable Energies) and Greenbuilding (International Exhibition and Conference on Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Architecture) trade fair. U.S. participants will receive an exhibit booth in premium position, pre-arranged appointments with business contacts, Italian interpreter services, on-site counseling and networking assistance, logistical support, and access to the exhibitor’s lounge.
- APEC Workshop on Smart Grid Deployment and Investment
