ADB BUSINESS SEMINARS IN SEATTLE AND LOS ANGELES
The U.S. Commercial Service is bringing back the seminar series to the United States this year. U.S. consulting firms, as well as goods and equipment suppliers are invited to join the seminars to learn about ADB business opportunities and how to navigate the ADB procurement process. ADB experts will conduct the seminars and be available for individual counseling sessions.

The ADB Transport Forum 2014 will gather together transport officials and professionals in Asia and the Pacific to discuss and share project updates, policies and issues, best practices and new innovations in the area of sustainable transport. The forum aims to engage experts in the field of sustainable transport, leaders and decision makers from developing member countries, national and multinational banks, private sector firms and service providers, members of the academe, civil society, development partners and other international organizations and transport stakeholders.

CS ASEAN Regional Training on ADB Business Opportunities, ADB Headquarters, Manila Philippines

On June 17, 2014, CS ADB conducted the first CS training on ADB business opportunities and processes for five (5) Senior Commercial Specialists in the Asia and South Asia regions and GM Asia Senior Trade Specialist from HQ. CS ADB Senior Commercial Officer/Director Margaret Keshishian and ADB Procurement and Country Specialists (Senior Procurement Specialist Jeffrey Taylor, Vietnam Resident Mission’s Deputy Country Director Andrew Head, Energy Specialist Taka Kadono, and South Asia Portfolio Head, Hans Carlsson) discussed how to track ADB opportunities and ADB’s work in Vietnam and India. As part of the training, the attendees participated in ADB’s Clean Energy Forum, which gathered stakeholders in a yearly discussion of latest updates and developments in technology, financing and policy in the clean energy field.
