Webinars on the Basics of Exporting
Learn how your company can tap into the Global Marketplace! As part of the National Export Initiative, the Commerce Department’s Trade Information Center is offering a series of one-hour webinars on the basics of exporting. These webinars have been specially designed to meet the needs of new exporters, or provide transaction specific guidance on more technical matters. Each begins at 2:00 pm Eastern and will last one hour. Simply click the title of the webinar that you are interested in. A nominal $15 registration fee will include slides, live audio, and question-and-answer sessions. They will be led by experts in their field and will address these topics:

- How to Identify Markets (Jan 25): Exporters who have an analytical framework for targeting best markets are more successful than those taking an ad hoc approach. - Selecting a Freight Forwarder (Feb 8): Learn how a freight forwarder can help your business with exporting costs, preparing and filing required export documentation, reserving cargo space and ensuring that your goods and documents comply with customs regulations.
