Participate in these webinars to learn about the Foreign Trade Regulations which are mandatory when exporting products overseas. These webinars will be offered in Spanish and presented by the U.S. Census Bureau, Foreign Trade Division. The first session will talk about how foreign trade data from the U.S. Census Bureau can aid small businesses. This session will also explain how Census Bureau's trade data can find emerging markets and determine market shares and where trade data can be found on the web.
The second session will talk about the legal requirements that guide the collection of the Electronic Export Information (EEI), filing timeframes, exclusions from filing, and responsibilities of all parties involved in an export transaction. This session will also explain penalties, mitigation, voluntary self-disclosure and corrections to your EEI.
The third session will cover the harmonized system, useful classification tools, as well as the Schedule B Manual.
