The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Intellectual Property Rights, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and U.S. Commercial Service cordially invite you to attend the STOPfakes.gov Road Show, an Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Outreach Program. This is an opportunity to learn the basics of intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and U.S. government resources available to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) protect their IPR at home and abroad. A business roundtable with senior waste management delegation from the public and private sectors in Brazil. Brazil has experienced increased urbanization challenges that include an increase of solid waste generation. The Brazilian government has tightened their control over the sector and in 2010, the country enacted a new National Solid Waste Management law, imposing stringent environmental regulations and restricts the creation and expansion of existing landfills. The roundtable will provide information on Brazilian waste management projects and investment opportunities for U.S. companies through a dialogue between the U.S. and Brazilian participants.

This two-day program is led by BIS's professional counseling staff and provides an in-depth examination of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The program will cover the information exporters need to know to comply with U.S. export control requirements on commercial goods.
