In partnership with Hanley Wood, the U.S. Department of Commerce – U.S. Commercial Service invites U.S. exhibitors to participate in our Show Time program at the 2013 World of Concrete trade show in Las Vegas, NV. Show Time appointments will be available in the International Business Center and on the show floor on Wednesday February 6 and Thursday February 7. Show Time offers you a unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with U.S. Department of Commerce industry specialists from our overseas offices.  You will be briefed on individual market opportunities and challenges related to the construction sector and market potential for your product & services.  All meetings will last approximately 20 minutes.   Specialists representing the following countries are tentatively scheduled to participate at the 2013 World of Concrete show:

US Census Bureau: Exporting is a great way to increase your sales and competitiveness. Did you know that in 2011 US exports surpassed $2 trillion? The Census Bureau's Foreign Trade Division collects, compiles and disseminates the official US export and import statistics. These timely and detailed trade statistics are exactly what you need whether to start exporting or looking to expand your business. We can provide you with information to determine where there is an international market for your product and in which market you can be competitive. Furthermore, we'll provide guidance on using our classification search engine and best practices for reporting your information in the Automated Export System. Meet with a Senior Trade Advisor from the Census bureau to better understand how you can use their system to develop a strategy for exporting:

Show Time appointments can take place, either at your booth or at the International Business Center located in the Central Hall near registration in Las Vegas Convention Center.  We will review your company information and provide a confirmation e-mail within 48 hours to the start of the show. Your confirmation will include details regarding the date, times and location of your Show Time meetings.  Additional export counseling services will also be available from U.S. Commercial Service staff during the show. There is no fee to participate.  All products and service must be at least 51% U.S. content.
