Bulgaria Renewable Energy Matchmaker

Monday, March 9, 2009 - The Oakland Export Assistance Center (EAC) hosted Bulgaria Commercial Specialist Andon Kalibatsev and his 15 renewable energy delegation members. Oakland EAC Director Rod Hirsch organized an afternoon matchmaker in partnership with FedEx for the group at the Oakland Federal Building. Three San Francisco Bay Area companies, OSISoft, Inc., Cool Earth Solar and SunPower Corporation, made presentations to the group. The presentations were followed by a site visit to the FedEx Express facility at the Oakland International Airport to view a SunPower Corporation, formerly PowerLight Corporation, 904kw solar roof installation. The delegation is traveling to the Renewable Energy World Conference & Expo taking place from March 10-13, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV.
