Chinese American Environmental Professionals Association Meeting

On Saturday, April 9, 2011 Oakland Export Assistance Center Director Rod Hirsch spoke at the annual Chinese American Environmental Professionals Association (CAEPA) meeting.

There were approximately fifty attendees in a variety of environmental technology fields at the educational event. Director Hirsch has worked in partnership with the CAEPA for over ten years as part of his environmental technology client outreach efforts.

The CAEPA requested that Director Hirsch provide a presentation on the water/wastewater treatment market in China. Consequently, Rod reached out to the China BIC, CS Shanghai and CS Beijing for an appropriate presentation from the market experts. Director Hirsch also invited two clients, Han’s Technologies Inc. and Adept Technology, Inc., to provide a “best practices” component to the presentation on doing business in China.
