Overview

Aruba, which is a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is located within 15 miles from the coast of South America, in the Southern Caribbean Sea and outside the hurricane belt. The Head of State is Queen Beatrix, who is represented by a Governor in Aruba. The Island is headed by a prime minister and legislated by the Council of Ministers. Aruba has many qualities that are very beneficial for investors such as strategic geographical location, its high quality infrastructure, modern airport, good port and telecommunication facilities, highly skilled educated and multilingual workforce, knowledge of the regional culture, stable political environment and, not least, judicial security under the Dutch Kingdom.
