The Greater New York Dental Meeting is considered throughout the world as the premier dental meeting in the United States. Drawing upon approximately 1500 technical exhibits and bringing together 2,700 international attendees representing 107 countries, GNYDM showcases the latest technological advances in the art and science of dentistry. GNYDM is viewed as the crown jewel of dental meetings and has seen a spike in conferences and seminars running concurrently with the exhibits. Notably, in 2008, live dentistry was introduced in an arena type setting where procedures ranging from implants to root canals were performed on patients and viewed through large screens around the arena. The procedures were performed and commented on by professors specialized in their respective fields. The education programs feature 300 renowned clinicians from around the world whose presentations cover the latest scientific advances in the world of dentistry and healthcare. Note the glassed in classrooms this past year,a new feature which enabled attendees to view the laboratory experiements from the outside.
