The Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) is Asia's largest publishing industry show with over 650 exhibitors and 500,000 visitors in 2009. The U.S. Commercial Service is organizing a U.S. Pavilion at TIBE 2010 to promote U.S. publishing products. At TIBE 2009, the U.S. Pavilion featured over 300 U.S. publishers (77 of which had never exported before) and over 1,400 titles. The U.S. Pavilion was visited by Taiwan's President and enjoyed a high-level of exposure, making it an excellent platform for U.S. publishers to promote their publishing products and find buyers of their title copyrights. In addition to exhibiting products at the Pavilion, the U.S. Commercial Service Taiwan Office will also provide a range of value-added services such as promoting all titles and publishers on the CS Taiwan website, list publishers in the TIBE booklet, proactively match U.S. titles with interested Taiwan publishers, display books in the CS Taipei library, as well as other promotional support. |
