| Event Summary: | ||||
|
Governor Tim Pawlenty will lead a delegation of Minnesota business leaders to South America in December to expand the state's trade relationship with our Western Hemisphere partners. The delegation will visit two of the most promising emerging markets on the continent – Brazil and Chile – but the mission is intended to focus attention on all of South America. With a combined population exceeding that of the United States, the twelve countries of South America offer significant economic opportunities for Minnesota exporters. Other compelling reasons to consider South America include: - Better GDP growth rate than the U.S. - Trade–dependent economies - Improved commercial infrastructure - Improved political climate - Increased consumer purchasing power - Significant economic prospects Visit the Trade Office website for additional details on “Why South America.” http://www.exportminnesota.com/TradeMissions.htm |
