CIMES 2012 is the only machine tool exhibition in China. CIMES 2010 was a record breaking exhibition where exhibitors arrived from 64 countries and there were 60,218 buyers with over $284 million sales reported. Buyers to CIMES 2012 will be Professionals & Decision Makers from the following sectors: Aerospace/Aviation; Defence; Auto & Auto Parts; Shipbuilding; Railway; Electrical Power; Metallurgy; Telecommunications; Chemistry; Textiles; and Printing. 2012 begins the 12th five-year plan with emphasis on the railway, automotive and energy sectors. Growth in these sectors will stimulate strong growth and boost demand for the machine tool industry. Forecasted developments in the Chinese market include: Railways - a 30% increase in demand for machine tools; Automotive - a 40% demand increase; and Energy - New energy development is strongly supported by the central government. |
