Export University is a series of three courses on exporting, with the objective of helping U.S. companies begin an export initiative and gain new skills and innovation in expanding their international sales. This course is a MUST for all companies!
• When: Thursday, June 2nd, Thursday, 9th, and Thursday, 16th, 2011
• Where: Civic Center, Conference Center, Temecula, CA.
• Time: 3pm- 6pm
• Cost: $285 per person for all three workshops.
June 2nd -Introductory Class (Topics covered include: Organizing for Export & Export Procedures, Export Regulations Overview, Considerations for Managing International Sales Orders, International Logistics, Building an Overseas Infrastructure, Growing Your International Business, Assessing Risk & Opportunity)
June 9th –Intermediate Class (Topics covered include: Promoting Products in Target Markets, Export Documentation and Effective Management of, Market Penetration Considerations, Free Trade Agreements; Tariff/Non-Tariff Barriers, U.S. and International Agencies Supporting Trade , Export Transactions, Market Research & Identifying Trade Contacts, Customer Service and Quality Assurance)
June 16th-Advanced Class (Topics covered include: Product Adaptation to Individual Markets, Patents, Trademarks, and IPR, U.S. & Host Country Tax Issues, International Bid and Performance Bonds, Creative Financing, Joint Ventures & Licensing, Establishing an Overseas Presence, Effective Compliance with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations, International Legal Considerations, Innovation and Leadership in Growing International Business, International Standards - CE Mark, ISO, CCC Mark, etc.)
