Known as the major international maritime, naval and defense-related event in South East Asia, the Pacific International Maritime Exposition 2012 (Pacific 2012) will be held January 31 through February 3, 2012 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Center in Sydney, Australia. The exhibition and its concurrent conference program will bring together key industry, defense and government decision makers from Australia, South East Asia and around the world. Participation in Pacific 2012 provides U.S. exhibitors with a prime opportunity to do business, strengthen existing commercial maritime industry and defense networks, and establish new ones.

In 2010, Pacific had:

- 406 exhibitors consisting of major maritime and naval defense companies from Australia and 17 other nations;

- 12,823 accredited trade and military visitors, representing 43 countries; and

- 136 top-level trade, diplomatic and military delegations.
