2012 is the year that U.S. companies will need to reevaluate their compliance strategy with EU laws on cosmetics. Rules for selling cosmetics in the European Union are changing. This webinar will cover changes to the regulation including the new requirements for safety assessment, new provisions on the labeling of nano materials, and the requirement to appoint a Responsible Person based in the European Union. Compliance with the new rules will be mandatory beginning on July 11, 2013 when the new Cosmetics Regulation fully replaces the existing Cosmetics Directive.
