Airshow China 2012 is the 9th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition. Airshow China is the only international aerospace trade show in China that is endorsed by the Chinese central government. It features the product displays, trade talks, technological exchanges and a flying display. Since 1996, the show has been successfully held in Zhuhai in every even number year. Its success includes attendees from over 600 companies from 35 countries and regions with a series of civil and military aircraft from home and abroad, along with more than 100,000 trade visitors who walked the show floor during trade days. China has witnessed massive government and private spending in the aerospace sector which ranks among the fastest growing industries worldwide. In addition, domestic aerospace majors have made their presence on the global front. It is forecasted that the country will buy above 3,700 airplanes by 2028 with an estimated value of U.S. $39 billion. |
