Annual Meeting 2011

The 2011 Annual Meeting & Business Forum took place from May 19-21, 2011 in Astana, Kazakhstan.  The Business Forum provided the chance to assess the latest political, economic and social changes, and business opportunities, in the country and across the EBRD region of operations.

Annual Meeting 2010

The EBRD’s 19th Annual Meeting and Business Forum (Zagreb, Croatia, 14-15 May 2010) explored the needs of the ongoing economic recovery and assessed business opportunities across our region. The event attracted more than 2,000 people – government officials, heads of state, major investors, civil society organizations and media – from around the world.

Annual Meeting 2009

The EBRD 2009 Annual Meeting and Business Forum took place in London at the EBRD's Headquarters on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May. The impact of the credit crunch and ensuing global financial crisis on the EBRD region was a major focus of discussions under the overall theme of the Meeting Investing for the Future: Opportunities in a Tougher Climate. Topics that were examined included the origins of the crisis and the lessons to be learned, while looking at solutions that will provide for sustainable economic growth across the region. 

Anuual Meeting 2008

The EBRD 2008 Annual Meeting and Business Forum took place in Kiev, Ukraine on 18 and 19 May and was a huge success.  The theme of last year's Annual Meeting and Business Forum was energising modern economies, signaling that energy issues have sprung to the forefront across the EBRD region and around the globe.  Over 3,500 participants, including government ministers, financiers, academics, media, and representatives of international organizations, gathered in Kiev to discuss this theme and many other issues throughout the past year.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet with AC-EBRD and US Executive Director's staff, key EBRD bankers, US Delegation members, and to network with other attending companies and consulting firms.
