The U.S. Department of Commerce encourages you, a company focusing on safety and security products and services, to exhibit at General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC) 2014.

GPEC is a closed specialized trade fair exclusively for members of authorities and those in the business of police equipment, security technology and services. By providing product presentations and training classes as well as seminars and workshops on key industry topics, GPEC offers a unique meeting place for all aspects of the police and security community including manufacturers, agents, executives, procurement officers and end users.

The exhibition is accompanied by a conference to communicate issues relevant to the police and specialized units and includes meetings of associations and working groups as well as conferences of specialist groups, police clubs and societies.

Within the framework of GPEC 2014, the U.S. Commercial Service in Düsseldorf offers a wide range of no-cost services for U.S. exhibitors to support your sales efforts in Germany and Europe before, during and after the event.

At no charge, we will (by request):

  • conduct pre-show promotion on your behalf via our Europe-wide network at other U.S. Embassies and Consulates to alert international distributors that you will be at the show, and invite them to visit your booth.
  • provide market research (in selected markets) and counseling before, during and after the show.
  • provide information about services we offer to exporters of American-made products, including the possibility to be featured on our official U.S. Commercial Service website in Germany to generate additional business leads, for ad hoc interpreting, market research, follow-up services or logistics assistance.
  • inform you about how to protect new designs you may be showing, and to take expedited action against foreign exhibitors who copy your design and trademarks.
