Get ready and gear up for the IWA OutdoorClassics 2014, the largest international trade fair for hunting and sport shooting equipment, knives, outdoor articles and accessories, taking place March 7 to 10, in Nuremberg, Germany. In 2013, some 1,209 exhibitors from 50 countries presented their products and services to 38,265 trade visitors from over 100 countries. Three out of four companies came from abroad. With close to 200 exhibitors, the United States once again had the second largest presence after Germany. U.S. products received a lot of interest from various European, Middle Eastern and Asian countries. IWA 2014 will cater to a large audience of buyers, two thirds of them from outside of Germany, turning the show into the number one international meeting place for the hunting and sport shooting industry and an ideal stepping stone for U.S. companies to enter multiple foreign markets. IWA 2014 will feature the following product segments:
Moreover, Enforce Tac 2014, the international exhibition & conference for law enforcement, security and tactical solutions, will be held prior to IWA 2014 from March 5 to 6.
The U.S. Commercial Service is offering a wide range of mostly free-of-charge support services for U.S. exhibitors at IWA 2014. Our standard services include the Exhibitor Support Program (ESP) and the International Promotion Program (IPP). Both programs provide high-quality support that complements your company's presence at the show.
Through the ESP, we will be able to provide you with a variety of services, including market research, assistance in finding suitable business partners and other customized services, all designed to promote your exports before, during and after the show. This unique opportunity is offered for U.S. companies only. The ESP includes the following elements:
The IPP is a useful extension of the ESP. Due to its highly international visitor structure and its location in the center of Europe, IWA 2014 holds great prospects for U.S. companies to reach a wider European audience and enter other markets in Europe and beyond. Therefore, we are cooperating with the hunting specialists in various U.S. Commercial Service offices across Europe. They will provide the following services and resources:
U.S. Commercial Service hunting & sport shooting specialists from several European offices are also planning to attend IWA 2014. They are well prepared to personally counsel U.S. exhibitors on their markets before the show.

*Note on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Both the U.S. Commercial Service and Nuremberg Trade Fairs are proactively engaged in defending American companies against counterfeit and copyright infringement. Please see our guidelines about IPR at Trade Fairs in Europe on our website. It shows how exhibitors can be supported on this very important subject.
