Our primary goal is to promote the export of goods and services made in the United States, particularly by small and medium-sized businesses, and on the protection of U.S. commercial interests in Ghana. Our core mission is therefore to provide timely, relevant, customized solutions to assist U.S. firms enter into the Ghanaian market. These include the identification of trade opportunities and finding local trading partners.
Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker will lead an Energy Business Development Mission to West Africa with stops in Ghana and Nigeria from May 18-23, 2014. This business development mission will promote U.S. exports to Africa by helping U.S. companies’ launch or increase their business in the energy sector in West Africa.
