AUVSI’s UNMANNED SYSTEMS SHOW
AUGUST 12-15, 2013, WASHINGTON, D.C.
The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International’s (AUVSI) annual trade show will be held August 12-15, 2013, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. AUVSI is the world’s largest non-profit organization devoted to advancing the unmanned systems and robotics community, with more than 7,000 individual members, and more than 580 corporate members, from 66 allied countries.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
More than 8,000 attendees from 40+ countries are expected to attend, bringing together key leaders and high-level decision-makers in the industry. They represent commercial and defense operators and manufacturers, military personnel, government and industry program managers, policy makers, scientists, researchers and students. They cover a broad range of interests including military and defense, law and border enforcement, emergency response and disaster relief, agricultural development, medical robotics, and a broad range of environmental and natural resource applications.
WHAT WILL THEY SEE
As the largest trade show for unmanned systems and robotic technologies, AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems 2013 brings together an extensive display of robotic and unmanned systems technology including air, ground, maritime (underwater and surface), space, and components spread throughout the 350,000 gross square feet exhibit space. More than 100 technical and panel presentations will feature the latest military, civil and commercial applications; provide updates on the latest industry trends and programs; and discuss technology development, interoperability and commonality across domains. More than 550 exhibitors will be showcasing the latest in aircraft testing equipment, antennas/antenna systems, camera systems, communications systems, computers, data storage/management, education/training, electrical/electronic assembly, engines, flight control systems, GPS/LBS, imaging/sensors, intelligence gathering, laser technology, night vision, noise/shock/vibration control, optronics and surveillance, police equipment, power supplies, radio equipment, reconnaissance systems, remote sensing, software and systems engineering, space systems, telecommunications, air, ground and maritime unmanned systems, vehicle electronics, weapons systems, and much more.
