The International Buyer Program recruits thousands of qualified foreign buyers, sales representatives, and business partners to U.S. trade shows each year, giving your exhibitors excellent opportunities to expand business globally.
If You’re A Trade Show Organizer
As part of the IBP, your trade show is promoted around the world and U.S. Commercial Service Trade Specialists recruit and lead buyer delegations to approximately 35 IBP trade shows.
The annual 60 day open application period for consideration of U.S. trade events interested in participating in the U.S. Commercial Service 2011 IBP is now closed. The IBP expects to notify applicants regarding the results of the 2011 application period sometime in March 2010.
The open 60-day application period for participation in the 2012 calendar year is expected to commence sometime in late August, early September 2010.

If You’re Exhibiting at an IBP Trade Show
Your chances of finding the right international business partner greatly increases at a trade show that’s part of the IBP. You’ll not only meet more buyers, representatives and distributors, but your products and services can be listed in the Export Interest Directory and distributed to all international visitors.

International Buyer Program supported shows are excellent opportunities to identify and meet with motivated U.S. exporters exhibiting at the shows. Join a U.S. Commercial Service-organized buyer delegations and receive assistance with registration and show logistics. Find the U.S. Commercial Service office in your country.
