Georgia companies operating across all industries are being presented with an export seminar that will cover a wide range of international trade finance topics from basic to advanced. This seminar provides small and medium-sized businesses the opportunity to gain knowledge necessary to determine options available for financing their export businesses, and how to best utilize programs and services offered by the Export-Import Bank of the United States; the U.S. Small Business Administration; and international business divisions of banks. This seminar will detail the products, programs and services available to mitigate risks associated with export transactions (i.e. international letters of credit; documentary collections; foreign currency exchange/hedging; working capital loans; foreign receivables insurance; & guaranteed term financing). This program is coordinated by the U.S. Commercial Service office in Atlanta that also provides export trade finance counseling for small and medium-sized businesses.
