|European Coatings Show 2013 -- Building Products, Industrial Chemicals, Plastics Materials/Resins|
U.S. manufacturers seeking to market their innovative paints and coatings in Europe increasingly participate in the European Coatings Show. It is the leading European exhibition for the international paints and coatings industry. Taking place every two years, the show is the European event for coatings, sealants and adhesives as well as the respective raw materials. In 2011, the European Coatings Show drew 887 exhibitors from 45 countries, among them 37 U.S. exhibitors (2010: 29 U.S. companies). The show hosts a U.S. Pavilion. The event was so highly international that more than half of the exhibitors came from abroad. Of the 25,955, trade visitors 16,297 were from countries outside of Germany. The European Coatings Show is a good market place for U.S. firms seeking international exposure, particularly in Europe.
