The U.S. Commercial Service, the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, is hosting a FREE webinar to promote opportunities for U.S. companies in the design, building materials, and construction sector in Russia. The construction industry in Russia grew by 10% in 2012, and continues to grow steadily due to significant private and public investment in commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Further demand is being fueled by construction and renovation projects related to Russia’s hosting of the Winter Olympics in 2014 and the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

On Thursday October 25, 2012 at 11am EST, 8am PST, the Design & Construction team presented a webinar to U.S. companies interested in opportunities related to the 2018 World Cup in St. Petersburg, Russia.
This webinar featured speakers from CS Russia, St. Petersburg Sports Complex, and RUS2018. The speakers will cover indepth information about the Russian soccer industry and the planning process leading up to the World Cup.
This webinar also featured information about January 2013 conference in St. Petersburg that will feature participants from all the major organizations involved in planning for the games including the Russian Ministry of Sport and the Russian Football Union.
