Our division of Commerce, the U.S. Commercial Service, has a global network of 100 offices located throughout the U.S. and over 100 offices located in about 80 countries. Our worldwide team of education specialists is here to assist with your international outreach to students, potential partners, and agents. Our Education Team members can assist you with the following:
- International Market Research – our overseas education specialists generate reports on the education sectors of target markets around the world. You can see three reports highlighted below, but you can also access more of them at www.export.gov/mrktresearch in our Market Research Library under the Services section.
- Recruitment Fairs – we can help you identify the right international education fairs for your institution.
- Webinars – learn about the education sector in a market of interest without leaving your desk.
- Virtual Education Events – showcase your school to a potential partner institution and/or agents using a powerpoint presentation live over the internet.
- Gold Key Service – we will set up in-country meetings for you with possible partner educational institutions, identify qualified recruiting agents, find companies that require specialized training for their employees and/or connect you with the Ministry of Education.
- Single School Promotion – we will organize an event featuring your institution/program and invite the country’s key players in the education sector.

Filmart is an established fair with buyers and sellers from 50 countries and regions. It is recognized as the premier Asian film and television market. Filmart's exhibition scope ranges from film/TV production and distribution to animation, equipment, licensing, digital entertainment, shooting locations, post-production services and film financing. In 2011, there were over 540 exhibitors at Filmart, 30 of which are U.S. exhibitors. Filmart is an excellent venue for U.S. companies to showcase their products and services, not only to the Hong Kong market, but also to the Asian region, as over half of the trade visitors are international visitors. |
