Our division of Commerce, the U.S. Commercial Service, has a global network of 100 offices located throughout the U.S. and over 100 offices located in about 80 countries. Our worldwide team of education specialists is here to assist with your international outreach to students, potential partners, and agents. Our Education Team members can assist you with the following:
- International Market Research – our overseas education specialists generate reports on the education sectors of target markets around the world. You can see three reports highlighted below, but you can also access more of them at www.export.gov/mrktresearch in our Market Research Library under the Services section.
- Recruitment Fairs – we can help you identify the right international education fairs for your institution.
- Webinars – learn about the education sector in a market of interest without leaving your desk.
- Virtual Education Events – showcase your school to a potential partner institution and/or agents using a powerpoint presentation live over the internet.
- Gold Key Service – we will set up in-country meetings for you with possible partner educational institutions, identify qualified recruiting agents, find companies that require specialized training for their employees and/or connect you with the Ministry of Education.
- Single School Promotion – we will organize an event featuring your institution/program and invite the country’s key players in the education sector.

The US Commercial Service will be hosting a breakfast meeting on Monday February 18, 2013 featuring a delegation of Qatari business and government leaders co-led by Mr. Hassan Al Thawadi, Secretary General, Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee and U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, Dr. Susan L. Ziadeh. US companies are encouraged to participate to learn about upcoming opportunities in Qatar as they prepare for the 2022 World Cup and implement the Emir's 2030 Vision Statement. This event will include a presentation from our guests as they outline the vision for Qatar and a Q&A session with participations. There will also be an opportunity to network with members of this high-level delegation. |
