Held September 9-12, 2014, at the Hamburg Messe & Congress Exhibition Center in Hamburg, Germany, SMM 2014 is the leading international trade fair for the ship building sector. The fair presents a wide range of innovations to meet today's rising standards for more competitive ships. The approximately 2,100 exhibitors from more 62 countries (SMM 2012 exhibitor information) make SMM 2014 the fair for U.S. companies eager to showcase their shipping, ship building, workboats, and military (naval and coast guard) products, and services. More than 50,000 trade visitors from nations throughout the world visited SMM 2012 -- and SMM 2014 is expected to surpass the 2012 show!
In conjunction with the SMM 2014 trade fair, environmental protection, offshore dialogue, and financial conferences as well as special sessions, press conferences and meetings are being organized by Hamburg Messe and various companies and groups. Also held during SMM 2014 will be the Maritime and Security Conference, bringing leading decision-makers throughout the world to the fair.
