CommunicAsia, held in conjunction with Broadcast Asia and Enterprise IT, is the most established and comprehensive ICT event in Asia. They will be held from June 18-21, 2013 in Singapore and is an excellent platform for U.S. ICT companies interested in exporting to Asia. In 2012, CommunicAsia & EnterpriseIT attracted 26,146 visitors, 50.5% were from overseas, while BroadcastAsia attracted 11,200 visitors, nearly 57% were from overseas. The U.S. Commercial Service to the EU will host a REACH webinar on November 29, 2012, for U.S. exporters in the Aerospace & Defense Sectors.
Under REACH, the continued marketing and Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) requires an authorization. Businesses active in the aerospace and defense sectors use a number of substances that are being considered for SVHC classification. No alternatives exist for many of these substances.
