To maintain this important sector of the U.S. economy, the U.S. Commercial Service provides assistance to increase the industry’s competitiveness by providing insight and research on foreign markets, programs to help U.S. firms enter new markets and services to help them find qualified business partners.

|AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America 2013 -- Aircraft/Aircraft Parts, Defense Industry Eq., Robotics|
AUVSI's Unmanned Vehicle North America is the largest show in U.S. with 300 exhibitors with 5,000 visitors expected. As unmanned air, land, sea and submarine vehicles are expected to have significant market gains due to Future Combat Systems (FCS) and the civilian application of robotic cargo airplanes flying 30% of air cargo by 2030, the market is clearly growing in importance. The exhibition also ties into Korea's interest in developing UAV systems in partnership with U.S. technology companies.
