Event Summary:
METS 2012, the world's largest trade exhibition of equipment, materials and systems for the international marine leisure industry, will take place November 13-15, 2012 at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Organized by Amsterdam RAI in association with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), METS 2012 is the place to exhibit for U.S. companies interested in accessing the European and global marine leisure industry. Exhibiting at METS 2012 provides U.S. companies with an excellent opportunity to sell the latest in marine and offshore technology in one of the world's biggest markets. Integrated in METS is The SuperYacht Pavilion, the central platform for the worldwide super yacht industry and a 'show within a show' at METS. The SuperYacht Pavilion (SYP) is the only truly international business-to-business exhibition for companies providing products and services for the large luxury yacht industry, set within the environment of METS - the world's number one marine equipment trade show. Additional specialist pavilions will be provided for marina & yard equipment and composites. METS 2012 trade visitors will include yacht builders, naval architects, repair yards, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, captains, marina operators, and equipment manufacturers from around the world. METS 2011 hosted more than 19,300 trade visitors from 104 countries -- 555 trade visitors from the United States, and 1,331 exhibitors from 42 countries – 148 exhibitors hailed from the United States.
