Commercial Service Activities at International Book Fairs

The CS Publishing, Media & Entertainment Team coordinates activities at many international book fairs and publishing trade events worldwide. We are active at book fairs Frankfurt, London, Prague, Jerusalem, Beijing, France, and Taipei.

o U.S. publishers increased their global exposure via our International Promotion Program, which promoted these companies to international attendees prior to the 2013 LBF. Publishers also had the opportunity to meet with U.S. Embassy-based country representatives to learn more about publishing markets in United Kingdom and France.

o We are offering an opportunity to send your titles to Prague to exhibit them in our third U.S. Pavilion at the Book World Prague event, which will take place May 2013. We will help you gain exposure and match titles with interested buyers in Eastern Europe. Click here for details

PAST EVENTS:

o We teamed up with the American Collective Stand (ACS) and Combined Book Exhibit (CBE) to bring American titles, digital databases, and e-books to TIBE 2013. U.S. Publishers had the option to exhibit through a title display, shelf display, or a full panel.

o U.S. publishers had 3 low-cost exhibit options for the 2013 Paris Book Fair; space within our U.S. Pavilion, table in the Rights Center, or send titles to be featured in a catalog show.

o U.S. publishers increased their global exposure via our International Promotion Program, which promoted these companies to international attendees prior to the 2012 FBF. Publishers also had the opportunity to meet with U.S. Embassy-based country representatives to learn more about publishing markets in Germany, Czech Republic, Egypt and France.
