Event Summary:
The U.S. Commercial Service to the EU will host a webinar on September 18, 2013 for U.S. manufacturers and users of nanomaterials that will discuss upcoming changes to EU legislation that will impact these companies' abilities to export products to the region. For this webinar, the Commercial Service at the U.S. Mission to the European Union is fortunate to call on the legal and scientific expertise of the American-based law firm Steptoe & Johnson. Their lawyers and scientists will address the following issues: • How does the European Union define nanomaterials for regulatory purposes? • What regulatory requirements must manufacturers of nanomaterials comply with? • What regulatory requirements must companies using nanomaterials in their products comply with? • How do U.S. exporters ensure that their products are compliant?
