FITUR 2013 will be the 33th edition of this major European travel show. FITUR is the leading travel and tourism show in Spain and the world's largest travel and tourism fair and the second largest of its type in Europe. In 2012, they featured 9506 exhibitors from 167 countries. They were over 210,000 professional visitors attending the show.

Why Participate? Spain remains one of the fastest growing of the European Union's larger economies.
With increasing interest in the U.S., especially among younger people, Spain is an excellent market opportunity. There are 11.8 million Spaniards between the ages of 18 and 35. California is one of the Spaniard's favorite destinations in the U.S. Golf is now the third most popular sport in Spain and golfers traveling abroad have begun to show an interest in destinations that combine traditional tourism with access to golf courses.
In general terms, vacation trips generate 68 percent of travel by Spaniards while another 14 percent are visits to friends and relatives and 10 percent is business travel. 62 percent of Spaniards traveling abroad go with their families, 32 percent travel as couples and 6 percent travel alone. Spaniards usually spend 7 to 9 days in the U.S. and most have already visited the country.
