The National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show is the largest annual gathering of foodservice professionals in the world. The 2015 Show attracted 4,512 international attendees plus 1,419 international exhibitors bringing total international attendance to 5,931 representing 110 countries. The total audience came to 63,676 with exhibitor personnel accounting for 20,897 of the audience. There were 2,206 exhibiting companies representing a total net square footage of 638,424.
Beverage Alcohol for Restaurants (BAR), a separate two-day event held in conjunction with the NRA Show will take place on May 22-23 from Noon to 6:00 pm. BAR (formerly IWSB) launched in 2008 and is the only beverage alcohol event exclusively for foodservice and hospitality operators. BAR provides operators with a highly focused forum for beverage alcohol products, information and contacts. BAR allows for face-to-face contact with a wide array of vintners, distillers and brewers and also offers beverage-alcohol pairings and a wide range of educational programs. This event requires separate qualifications, registration and badge for entrance. Qualified attendees are the decision makers for the purchase of alcohol in their restaurant or hotel. A qualified IBP trade delegation member would receive a discounted registration fee.
There are over 950 different product categories directly related to the restaurant and foodservice industries represented at the NRA Show which include, but are not limited to equipment, food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, furniture, furnishings, paper, plastics, supplies, services, tableware, linens, technology, entertainment and uniforms
Target Buyers: Professionals involved in buying or influencing purchasing decisions including, corporate executives, owners/operators, chefs, franchisees, managers and purchasing agents of foodservice, bar managers, sommeliers, hotel/motel operations, cruise lines, airlines/commissary, entertainment/concessions, military, health care, and contract foodservice.
