The American Public Transportation Association's (APTA) EXPO 2014, October 13-15, 2014, in Houston, Texas, happens ONLY ONCE EVERY THREE YEARS, and is the world's largest gathering of public transportation decision-makers with over 15,000 participants expected to attend. In addition, APTA's 2014 Annual Meeting will run concurrently with EXPO 2014, and offers the most comprehensive transportation education program in the world with over 50 educational sessions, technical tours, and networking opportunities. The 2011 EXPO drew 15,000 attendees, including over 650 international attendees representing more than 65 countries.

The EXPO represents all forms of public transportation, from buses and trams to rapid transportation systems and commuter rail, as well as companies that supply products and services to the transportation industry. EXPO's over 750 exhibiting companies are responsible for planning, designing, constructing, financing and supplying public transportation systems.
