The U.S. Department of Commerce encourages you to exhibit at Autopromotec 2013, a major B2B international exhibition of equipment, products and servicing for the transportation industry. This highly acclaimed international trade fair will take place at the Bologna Trade Fair Center, May 22-26, 2013.

The last Autopromotec, in May 2011, hosted 1,473 exhibitors - 543 of them international - and 470 journalists from the trade press. More than 103,000 professionals (18,500 international) attended the event. Participation in an exhibition of this magnitude is an ideal forum for U.S. firms interested in entering into or expanding their presence in the European market. Autopromotec 2013 will showcase the latest cutting-edge technologies and know-how concerning: plants, equipment and material for car repair workshops; vehicle body repair shops; vehicle electricians; tire retailers; car dealers; service stations, car washes and specialized centers for the repair of means of transport; machinery, equipment, moulds and materials for tire specialists; equipment, materials and products for the sale and repair of tires; machines and equipment for engine overhaul; replacement parts; components; and car services. The U.S. Commercial Service in Milan will support your sales efforts in Italy and Europe before, during and after Autopromotec. At no charge, we will:
- Conduct a pre-show promotion on your behalf via selected European markets at other U.S. Embassies and Consulates to alert international distributors that you will be at the show, and invite them to visit your booth.
- Provide market research in selected markets and counseling before, during and after the show.
- Provide information about services we offer to exporters of American-made products, including the possibility to be featured on our official U.S. Commercial Service website in Italy to generate additional business leads, for ad hoc interpreting, market research, and follow-up services or logistics assistance.
- Inform you how to protect new designs you may be showing, and to take expedited action against foreign exhibitors who copy your design and trademarks.
- Introduce you to an International Trade Specialist at your nearest Commerce Department Export Assistance Center in the United States.
