Featured U.S. Exporters (FUSE)
Featured U.S. Exporters (FUSE) is a directory of U.S. products and services that appears on our local Japanese language website, targeting our audience of Japanese importers, distributors, wholesales, and agents. Each FUSE posting also appears in one issue of our biweekly Japanese language email newsletter, sent to over 3,700 Japanese subscribers. Reach out to them in Japanese by becoming a Featured U.S. Exporter on the site.
Your FUSE posting includes:
- Your company name.
- A 250 Japanese character description of your product/service and your objective in the Japanese market.
- One JPEG or GIF image, 200x200 pixels maximum. Product images, corporate logos, and other emotive images all work well, depending on what you are promoting. Commercial Service Japan staff may edit the image as necessary.
- A link to your website.
- We will publish the text of your FUSE listing, on a one-time basis, in our biweekly Japanese-language newsletter received by over 3,700 subscribers (importers, distributors, wholesalers and agents) throughout Japan.
- Commercial Service Japan staff will translate trade leads generated through your posting into English and forward them directly to you for your follow-up.
- Further Commercial Service assistance with follow-up is available through our Gold Key and other programs!
Fee:
Commercial Service Japan offers two types of FUSE services:
Standard FUSE -- Sold in sets of five markets (e.g., 5, 10, 15, 20) with a minimum purchase of $150 required for SMEs*. Listings are in English unless otherwise noted. A translation fee of $50 per language applies to listings which require translation to the local language.

Japan-only FUSE -- Sold for the Japanese market only. The participation fee for SMEs* is $80 ($30 posting fee, and $50 translation fee).

*A small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) is defined as a firm with 500 or fewer employees or self-certified as a small business under SBA regulations. A large company is defined as a firm with more than 500 employees. Subsidiaries will be classified based on the size of the partner company.
**We are unable to provide a discount for translations provided by clients as these translations still have to reviewed and verified by CS Japan staff.
- The standard posting period is one year. Your posting can be renewed at the conclusion of one year, or removed prior to the conclusion of one year, upon your request.
