Mathew Woodlee, Senior International Trade Specialist


Mathew first became affiliated with the USCS as an undergrad in 1995 when he received the Ron Brown Fellowship administered by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.  After grad school in 2002, Mathew joined the USCS in HQ  at the E-Business Development Unit and then as a Trade Specialist in the Baltimore USEAC.  In 2005, he served as the Aerospace & Defense Team Leader and in 2006 received an appointment from Governor Bill Richardson to serve as Director of International Trade for the State of New Mexico.  Mathew briefly joined a private consulting firm in late 2009 before returning to the USCS in October 2010.  Mathew holds an MBA in International Management and a BA in Political Science from the University of New Mexico.  He will be settling in the Minneapolis area with his wife Christina and son Noah.
