Greg Sizemore - Bio
Based on Morehead Street in Charlotte, Greg is the Director of the U.S. Commercial Service’s U.S. Export Assistance Centers in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greensboro. The North Carolina U.S. Export Assistance Centers (USEACs) are linked with 80 such trade centers located in the U.S. and linked with over 100 overseas offices. Greg leads a team of 9 international trade professionals who assist small sized U.S. businesses with export planning and processes, and locating qualified overseas buyers. The USEACs in North Carolina have delivered over 2,500 individual trade counseling sessions and customized services to over 780 North Carolina businesses in FY11 & FY12 to date, resulting in 130 North Carolina firms reporting 565 export successes to 75 different countries valued over $85M.
Greg began his career in export promotion at the Greensboro Export Assistance Center in 1994 and moved to Charlotte in 1996 to help open the Charlotte U.S. Export Assistance Center. He was Director of the Arlington, Virginia Export Assistance Center from 2001 until 2003. Greg is a native of Winston-Salem, and received his BS in International Business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and MBA from Wake Forest University.
