Cleveland State University's nationally recognized export assistance program, Global Target, is now accepting applications for the upcoming 2013 class. Course begins May 3, 2013. Take part in this unique mentoring program, which has accelerated export programs for companies throughout Northeast Ohio since 2005. The program price includes a Gold Key Service (pre-screened meetings in country with 4-5 potential foreign buyers that are interested in meeting with you) provided by the U.S. Commercial Service, and paid for by FedEx.

4th Annual US-Nigeria Trade Mission to Promote Commerce & Technology, Agriculture, and Oil & Gas Industries

The Nigerian/USA Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) and the US Commercial Service have combined forces to put together a trade mission to one of the “hottest markets” in the world. Nigeria is a Priority Market in the National Export Initiative and the mission will include our highly successful Gold Key Service. The platform will allow US businesses to present, demonstrate, and showcase their products and services to over 200 Nigerian businesses.
Applications for the Ohio International Market Access Grant for Exporters (IMAGE) are now being accepted. IMAGE is a program funded by the State of Ohio and the U.S. Small Business Administration as part of the National Export Initiative to double U.S. exports by 2015. The program is designed to increase exports and create jobs by helping small companies to promote their products and services in new international markets. Qualifying Ohio businesses can apply for financial assistance to help cover the costs of export-related activities such as: international trade show participation, subscription to services provided by the U.S. Commercial Service, marketing and translation services and international trade mission participation.
