Meet Japanese builders, architects, and wholesalers and update your knowledge of Japan's housing market during this week of seminars, meetings, and receptions.

Seminars will present information about how Japanese companies can differentiate their projects and maximize competitiveness with new products, designs, and marketing methods.

Three Seminars & Table Top Display Shows

US companies are featured in three seminars about building materials and technologies that can improve the performance, design, sales price and marketability of Japanese homes. 

Two Roundtable Discussions & Reception with Importer-Wholesalers & Builders  

Mission members will participate in roundtable discussions and receptions with:

  • The Imported Building Materials Forum (Association) (IBMF) - Meet importers to discuss products, issues affecting imported building materials, and make business contacts. IBMF's energy efficient building materials study group and kitchen designers study group will also report.
  • Imported Housing Industry Organization (IHIO) - IHIO is a professional organization of builders who use imported building materials.
  • JERCO-Meet with members of the Japan's largest remodeling association. Members include remodelers, manufacturers, trading companies and remodeling-related service providers.

Reception with Japanese Architect Association

Develop contacts with architects during this evening reception in Tokyo with members of a 314-person architect association at the association's own Architect Café. The café is a showroom featuring design and furniture supplied by association members. (architectcafe.com/)
