LOCAL TRADE EVENTS
The U.S. Commercial Service in Portland, along with our local international trade partners, conducts on-going conferences, seminars, and events to educate our clients and promote international trade. Whether it's an executive briefing with a Commercial Service Officer from Australia or a videoconference with your distributor in Zurich, these events are designed to help U.S. exporters market locally and sell globally.
Important Note: You may be eligible to receive financial assistance for export training seminars through the Oregon STEP Grants or the Washington State Export Voucher Program!!! For program details and applications see the links to the right.
This day-long seminar provides the information and resources needed to help established businesses develop an export market, supplies occasional exporters with the tools to begin/expand their international business, and offers current exporters a forum for discussing special issues in export business development.
This class is offered approximately four times annually in various locations, including Portland, Salem, Eugene and Bend. No classes are scheduled over the summer months, but will resume in September.
Join us for this quarterly series -- meet and greet other professionals working in the exciting field of international business, expand your network of business partners and connections, exchange best practices, and discuss strategies for the continually changing economic landscape.
While this event is free of charge, we request the favor of a reply (via the link below each event) confirming your attendance if you plan to attend.
