LOCAL TRADE EVENTS
The U.S. Commercial Service in Portland, along with our local international trade partners, conducts on-going conferences, seminars, and events to educate our clients and promote international trade. Whether it's an executive briefing with a Commercial Service Officer from Australia or a videoconference with your distributor in Zurich, these events are designed to help U.S. exporters market locally and sell globally.

RECURRING SERIES

This day-long seminar provides the information and resources needed to help established businesses develop an export market, supplies occasional exporters with the tools to begin/expand their international business, and offers current exporters a forum for discussing special issues in export business development.
This class is offered approximately four times annually in various locations, including Portland, Salem, Eugene and Bend. No classes are scheduled over the summer months, but will resume in September.
Join us for this quarterly series -- meet and greet other professionals working in the exciting field of international business, expand your network of business partners and connections, exchange best practices, and discuss strategies for the continually changing economic landscape.

The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our annual Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup trade mission to Doha, taking place May 26 - May 30, 2013 in partnership with the US-Qatar Business Council. This is an opportunity to follow up with the Qatari 2022 FIFA World Cup Supreme Committee delegation visit to Portland in February.
In addition to participating in business briefings, networking receptions, and roundtable discussions, mission participants will learn how to

This seminar provides a comprehensive overview of key intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and enforcement issues and offers valuable resources to help your business enforce IPR at home and abroad. This dynamic, day-long program will feature presentations by intellectual property experts and law enforcement officials from the U.S. Department of Commerce Office of Intellectual Property Rights, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the National IPR Coordination Center. The program concludes with an opportunity to discuss your specific issues in one-on-one meetings with these experts.
