International Defense Industry Exhibition
September 2-5, 2013 in Kielce, POLAND
The MSPO International Defense Industry Exhibition is the largest annual event for the defense and security industries in Central and Eastern Europe, and one of Europe’s three largest trade shows dedicated to the defense sector (after Paris and London). The MSPO is held annually in Kielce (south east Poland) at the beginning of September.
The 21st edition of the MSPO will be held on September 2-5, 2013. The show attracts buyers from throughout the region and represents an excellent venue for U.S. companies in these sectors. Participation in the MSPO and accompanying conferences and seminars is a very effective avenue for promotion in Poland and its neighbors including Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Ukraine, and the Baltic States.
The 2012 event, attended by the President of Poland, Polish Defense Minister, Polish Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief of National Security Bureau, and other senior leaders of the Polish armed forces, was a great success and showed vast potential - 400 exhibitors from 29 countries and over 13,000 visitors. Over the years, the exhibition area has grown from a single pavilion to six spacious pavilions taking a total space of 35,975 square meters plus an outdoor exhibition area.
Each year, the MSPO features an accompanying event - International Logistics Exhibition - LOGISTYKA held at the MSPO fair grounds, which is dedicated to border control, police and firefighting activities.
The U.S. Commercial Service Warsaw would like to see more American companies participating in 2013 MSPO event. For more information about the show and the defense sector in Poland, please contact:
