  • Trade Mission: West Africa Energy Sector
    May 18-24, 2014, Nigeria and Ghana - U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker will lead an Energy Business Development Mission to West Africa to help U.S. companies in the energy sector launch or increase their business.  The application deadline is March 14.

  • Japan NOA Conference
    Commercial Service Japan announces the 29th NOA Conference – a one-on-one business matchmaking event between U.S. firms and Japan’s electric power utilities and suppliers – to be held on May 22, 2014 in Tokyo, Japan. This is an opportunity for representatives of U.S. suppliers of non-fuel materials and equipment and their Japanese agents to sit down in individual meetings with procurement managers from Japan’s 12 Japanese electric power companies (10 major utilities and 2 wholesalers), all in one place.

  • U.S.-Africa Energy Ministerial
    June 3-4, 2014- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- The Government of Ethiopia and the Government of the United States will co-host the U.S.-Africa Energy Ministerial (AEM), which will focus on the theme of “Catalyzing Sustainable Energy Growth in Africa” and provide a forum for major announcements and commitments that support energy development throughout Africa.

  • Opportunities in the Caribbean Region: Trade Mission and Business Development Conference

    June 8-12, 2014, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Bahamas, Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, and Trinidad and Tobago - Following a half-day conference, have matchmaking appointments with Dominican companies in the Dominican Republic, and then visit one of the other markets for additional one-on-one business appointments.  The mission is open to U.S. companies from a cross section of industries with growing potential in the Caribbean, but prospects for energy equipment exist in most of the markets.  Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis.
