- US-Turkey Smart Grid Technical Workshop
December 10, 2013, Istanbul, Turkey -- The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is sponsoring a one-day technical workshop as a follow-on activity to the successful USTDA workshop organized last February in Istanbul, Turkey. Participating delegates will represent public and private sector stakeholders responsible for the Turkish power sector's future development, including the 21 electricity distribution companies in Turkey, the Ministry of Energy, and the energy regulator EMRA. This is an excellent business development opportunity for U.S. companies as the Turkish electricity distribution companies will be spending more than $5 billion through 2015.
