The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration is organizing an Executive-led Infrastructure Business Development Mission to Morocco, Egypt, and Jordan (with optional West Bank briefings). The purpose of the mission is to introduce U.S. firms, including efficient energy equipment and technologies companies, and trade associations to Morocco, Egypt, and Jordan’s rapidly expanding infrastructure markets and to assist U.S. companies to pursue export opportunities in these markets.
Trade Policy Mission to Peru
November 12-13, 2014
Join a U.S. Department of Commerce official on a two-day renewable energy and energy efficiency (RE&EE) trade policy mission to Lima, Peru. The mission will help create a policy environment in Peru capable of facilitating additional RE&EE development, remove restrictions to U.S. RE&EE exports, and introduce U.S. companies to senior Peruvian officials.
December 2014 Energy Efficiency Business Development Mission to China

The focus of this one-week mission is to help U.S. companies that provide technology and/or services related to energy efficiency to enter into (or expand operations in) the Chinese market. The focus is on helping participants to identify and take advantage of real business opportunities.

Opportunities in the Caribbean Region: Trade Mission and Business Development Conference

Renewable energy and electrical infrastructure are among the sectors that have prospects in the Caribbean. Trade mission delegation member participants will attend the Trade Americas - Opportunities in the Caribbean Region Conference and have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one business appointments with Econ/Commercial Officers from the following U.S. Embassies in the Caribbean region: Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Bahamas, Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, and Trinidad and Tobago. The following day participants will have matchmaking appointments with Dominican companies in the Dominican Republic. And the day after, participants will travel to Haiti, Jamaica, Bahamas, Barbados, or Trinidad and Tobago (choosing one market) for additional one-on-one business appointments. Each one-on-one business appointment will be with a pre-screened potential buyer, agent, distributor or joint-venture partner. Participants will also be invited to networking events during the mission. A minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 companies will be selected to participate in the mission from the applicants on a rolling basis.
June 3-4, 2014- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- The Government of Ethiopia and the Government of the United States will co-host the U.S.-Africa Energy Ministerial (AEM), which will focus on the theme of “Catalyzing Sustainable Energy Growth in Africa” and provide a forum for major announcements and commitments that support energy development throughout Africa.

The application deadline is January 17, 2014.
