USTDA and GE visit Buzau - June 2010
Following the March visit organized by CS Bucharest at GE Plant in Tatabanya, Hungary, the Water Company from Buzau expressed interest in implementing GE’s membrane bioreactor technology at one of their facilities. On June 23, 2010, Commercial Attaché Keith Kirkham together with USTDA Country Manager Jamie Merriman and GE representative, Catalina Teodorescu travelled to Buzau to meet with Ionel Tescaru, General Manager of the water operator and his team. The discussions were focused on identifying a MBR tech pilot project eligible for USTDA financing. The meeting proved to be productive and a follow up on the subject is expected early fall.
