September 2011: The U.S. Commercial Service starts the fall with a new season of Energy Soirees
The U.S. Commercial Service of the American Embassy in Romania kicked off the new season of the Energy Soirees on September 26, 2011 at the Intercontinental hotel. The event sponsored by Capgemini (http://www.ro.capgemini.com/en/who_we_are/) was attended by major players from the energy and oil and gas industries. Verinda Fike, U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) Country Manager was the Guest of Honor. She outlined the agency’s activities in Romania as well as the upcoming events in the next year. These will include a Smart Grid Reverse Trade Mission to the United States for the Romanian relevant officials and companies.
