In June 2012, the Romanian water industry signed up for the leading U.S. water trade show ACE 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Over the last 5 years, ACE organized by the American Water Works Association has been the major promoter of U.S. water and wastewater technologies in Romania.
A delegation of water utilities, construction companies and distributors of water equipment and technologies led by Commercial Specialist Maria Nitoiu visited the ACE exhibition. Meetings with several U.S. companies that have good prospects on the Romanian market were reported.
A “Welcome Romania” briefing was held at the booth of U.S. vendor Process Solutions Inc, a provider of cost effective solutions to municipal & industrial water and wastewater facilities. Their product MicrOclor System, a third generation onsite sodium hypochlorite generation (OSHG) system is the result of over twenty years of research and experience. The MicrOclor system has enhanced safety features, the best warranty of all OSHG manufacturers and is designed for minimal system maintenance.
The final highlight of the agenda included field trips to two wastewater treatment facilities that employ CST Industries technologies, such as aluminum flat covers, aluminum dome and glass-fused-to-steel bolted tank with painted dome.
Texas-based CST Industries is a global leader in the manufacture and construction of factory coated metal storage tanks, aluminum domes and specialty covers and reclaimer systems.
